Believe it or not, The og Resident Evil 4 is on the switch. Couple other Resident evils are on switch too, but don't get village on there its just not worth the lag and graphics.

Eternights. A fun, short Persona clone that's hilarious. The jokes are perverted but not in a gross way. Highly recommend for any Persona fan

the reason why dark souls and persona are rated m is because of bloodstains/splashes & "partial nudity" according to the esrb page. quelag and crow demon for ds & the several skimpy demons in persona.

There is absolutely a reason we got the second Akiba's game first in the US (ten years ago on Vita). The first game, even on Switch, plays like ass and I just get no enjoyment out of it. I played the second game on Vita years ago, and I mostly remember the weird brother-loving little sister who keeps calling the main protagonist bro puns (like Brocephus, apparently after Hank Williams, Jr.'s nickname). It played better but still not that great. Some other M-rated games: Labyrinth of Refrain and Labyrinth of Galleria--Nippon Icchi dungeon crawlers. I didn't get particularly far in either yet, they're on my immense backlog. Labyrinth of Zengetsu (not releated; I haven't played this one yet) Moero Crystal H and Moero Chronicle Hyper (more ecchi dungeon crawlers from Idea Factory). Has much more "moe" style characters, which I'm not a fan of in general, I only have the first one. That's surprisingly all the M-rate JRPGs I've tried or plan to try that weren't in the video (I have all the SMT and Persona games).

Im certain you've mentioned it before, but the Moero games (Chronicle and Crystal) are also incredibly fun if you dig the first person dungeon crawler stuff. And they're in the same series/universe as Seven Pirates H.

People crap on Compile Heart/Idea Factory but I actually enjoy many of their games. The Mary Skelter series is my favorite of the bunch. I also enjoyed the Akiba's trip games (and the anime). I have copes of Death End Re: Quest 1/2 and Seven Pirates H but haven't played them yet. I'e never even heard of Undernauts Labyrinth of Yomi but I'll be looking for a copy now.

Other titles I recommend is Persona 3 and Persona 4 Golden I know limited run did a physical copy of a while back but they are available on eShop and definitely Nier Automata that is definitely a must have in your game collection!😮 the combat style is similar to Bayonetta but the story is phenomenal as well as the music soundtrack.

I would love if the Switch 2 improves the frame rate for the Death End Request games. The games are fun but the slowdown is annoying.

My problem with Compile Heart/Idea Factory is that they always go for the same anime tropes and cliches, but the combat systems and gameplay loops that they make are always really fun

Question for someone who played SMTV Vengance. As someone who played like 10 hours of the original, and quit because the gameplay was fine but just gave no fucks about the story or characters and had no interest in continuing because of that (I thought it was just super poorly paced and written) is Vengeance worth getting?

I have Akiba's Trip 1&2 (so much fun here), Shin Megami Tensei 3&V (very interesting stories and gameplay), Death or School (great open world), Dark Souls, Persona 3-5 on the PS4. For Switch I have Seven Pirates H, Caligula Overdose 1&2 and Omega Labyrinth on the Switch. That is just counting the physical releases as I have HyperDimension Neptunia 7 on PS4 that i got on sale digitally. Now we need the 2 Raidou Games remastered on PS4 like Nocturne.

I believe the Death End reQuest games are written by Makoto Kedouin, who wrote the Corpse Party games. I’ve had them on my Switch for awhile for this reason and plan on playing them at some point. Would love to see more horror JRPGs.

Now as for games I would add to the list that’s a good question, a few easy spicy picks would be OmegaLabyrinth Life which is up there with seven pirates H for the physics Samurai Maiden is a fun fanservicy game with decent combat and looks very pretty. Are the must owns? Depends on your taste I guess.

Moero Chronicles Hyper Moero Crystal H Labyrinth of Refrain Coven of Dusk Labyrinth of Galleria The Moon Society All 4 games are Labyrinth type Dungeon crawlers. Moero series is from the Seven Pirates devs, also the gamplay loop is heavier on the farming for EXP to keep up with the power curve. Labyrinth of Refrain/Galleria have a darker theme. I did about 10 hours into Refrain and haven't hit any explicit M rated parts. I think it mostly goes in the dark lewd direction from what I checked (like blackmail).

Fun list. I’m playing through death end re quest now after having it sit in my collection for a few years. Another mature rated rpg is Haven, a co-op style game that’s pretty good

Seven Pirates is actually the 5th game in the Genkai Tokki series! Moero Chronicle and Crystal are the only other ones on Switch and have the fanservice of Seven Pirates as a DRPG like the Mary Skelter games.

Moreo Crystal H is a dungeon crawler like Mary Skelter, but has level/power up type phases that are similar to 7 Pirates H...

Tried Akiba’s Trip on the Vita back before the Switch got released, was too difficult even on easy mode. Wondering how it is on the Switch. Are the Death End games available physically? Would like to try Seven Pirates, *if* it’s physical. The one thing I don’t like in games, like Mary Skelter series, is procedural generation when it comes to dungeons. Why not simply design set levels?

Commenting only on the games I've actually played, Undernaughts is pretty good, if you like dungeon crawling RPGs like Etrian Odyssey and haven't touched this for some reason, it's well worth playing. SMT V is amazing, one of the best RPGs I've played recently, played the original and will pick up the new version soon and yes I'm fine replaying the game all over again since it was that good the first time around. Original or the new vengeance, obviously if you can, get vengeance as it's just infinitely better than the original, more content and also no more level scaling. Even tho I haven't played vengeance yet, I already know it's better solely because the level scaling mechanic made the original one stupidly easy even on the highest difficulty as long as you level up. Also more content = almost always good. Ok so... I haven't played Dark Souls Remastered. But I have played the original DS1 along with DS2, DS3 and Elden Ring. DS1 is still incredibly solid to this day and I'm sure the remastered version on switch only made it better. FromSoft Soulsgames = must play. I've also played probably 90% of the Soulslikes and I still would say the Dark Souls series is still at the top of the pack. (Still waiting for Bloodborne to be ported out of anything other than PS4 so I can play it) P5R... this game, for some reason I can't seem to find the urge and/or will to continue. This game is like critically acclaimed everywhere, people singing praises left and right. But I don't know why or what is keeping me from actually continuing to play it. I play it for like 1-2 hours then get bored and stop and I've been on and off of it for many weeks now. I'm probably not even 1/4th of the story/game. You'd think for someone who loved SMT V so much I'd also be super into P5R but for some reason I'm not. I'm gonna play P3R soon and I think I'm gonna like that more. P5Strikers, I might play it someday. Dead or School, this game sadly I can't recommend. It LOOKS good, not mind blowing but I would say the trailers and stuff look fun but when I played it, the controls are super clunky and you can feel the janky feel of the gameplay. I love metroidvania, think of any, I've probably played it. Mainstream ones like Bloodstained and Deadcells. Even the somewhat obscure/not so popular ones like Valdis Story and Dishwasher Vampire Smile. All of them heavily recommend. Dead or School is a hard no for me.

You want to here something fun I own all the mary shelter games and seven pirates h for the switch and they are some of the most fun gameplay wise I had and the fanserice dosent hurt either in my opinion. Also for my ideas to add to the list is the monster prom series I know they ate more visual novel style but they have a Stat system so I leave it up to you if it counts

Persona 5 royal and Persona 5 strikers are a must but bc the stroy and gameplay are really good. I been playing royal and strikers to have fun and used to the stroy. I highly recommend Persona 3 and 5

Play ever oasis. I love the 3ds and play every game that has it with the 3d turned all the way up. When a 3ds game gets rerelased i think it is a worse version but i am glad more people can play it.

I released the true power of my 3DS because Senran Kagura 2, purchased my digital edition of Stella Glow on my main 3DS, purchased an used cartridge of Project X Zone at a pawn shop for almost 4 dollars, downloaded Nano Assault and totally love it, still got the cartridge of Fantasy Life and am not gonna sell it, sold my copy of Radiant Historia and with that money purchased three Switch games, already got the digital version back, Devil Survivor is a must that’s why I purchased the digital version in my primary 3DS 😊
